FORUM's search for a new LOS began in May 2012, when the credit union started looking for a company with a proven track record whose platform could accommodate [COLUMN_BREAK]

its range of product offerings. The search ended with LoanQuest, which offers a variety of features, including a single comprehensive database of customers' financial situations, a product and pricing tool, and an imaging center that allows users to clear conditions while viewing.

""MortgageFlex provides a flexible software solution that offers efficient and effective loan origination tools. Their configurable solution will improve our member's experience and give us the flexibility to offer a wider range of products and adapt to the ever changing market,"" said Brian Crum, VP of lending for FORUM.

Crum also added that MortgageFlex's reputation ""as an experienced software provider in the industry"" was another factor in its selection.

""We've seen a lot of mergers, acquisitions, and closures among our competitors and we've learned from them. We've learned that you have to continue to improve your technology and listen to your customers,"" said Craig Bechtle, COO of Florida-based MortgageFlex. ""To be selected by a progressive lender like FORUM after a yearlong due diligence is very gratifying and we are looking forward to a long term partnership.""
