Auction.com Named One of AlwaysOn’s Global 250 for 2015

shutterstock_192478247Auction.com, LLC, a online real estate marketplace, is among the winners of the 13th annual AlwaysOn Global 250, a list of the most promising private companies creating enormous opportunities and inventing new categories across the global technology landscape, the company announced in a press release.

According to Auction.com, the companies are recognized for their potential to innovate in existing markets and capitalize on new market opportunities. Auction.com was named in the “Marketplace and E-Commerce” category along with Airbnb, Houzz, Thumbtack, Flipkart, and other notable market leaders.

“We’re honored that AlwaysOn has chosen Auction.com as one of the 250 most promising private technology companies, recognizing the innovation that we’re bringing to both the residential and commercial real estate markets,” said Tim Morse, CEO of Auction.com  “As we leverage Internet and mobile technology to make real estate transactions easier, more efficient and more transparent for everyone involved, we are constantly developing new and better ways to meet the needs of our customers and make a positive, meaningful impact on the real estate industry.”

The AlwaysOn editorial team, along with program partners and industry experts across the globe  search the entrepreneurial sector each year to find the top Global 250 private companies that are making their mark in the technology world. The winners are categorized in their respective sectors: AdTech and Marketing, B2B – Cloud Infrastructure, B2B Big Data, B2B SaaS and Enterprise, Consumer Apps, Digital Media, EdTech, FinTech, and Marketplaces and E-Commerce.

Auction.com and the other Global 250 companies will be honored at AlwaysOn’s Silicon Valley Innovation Summit on July 8-9, 2015 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
