New Staff and Products Tops at Total Mortgage

Big news abounds at ""Total Mortgage Services, LLC,"":http://www.totalmortgage.com/ with two major recent announcements focused on the company's retail channel. Total Mortgage is amping up its staff with 50 new loan officers, and in addition, has just launched its Home Loan Program with the ""Agriculture Department"":http://www.usda.gov/(USDA).

Originators joining the Total Mortgage team will benefit from the entity's retail presence in 23 states around the country, as well as access to exceptionally low mortgage rates and strong support from Total Mortgage's operation services.

Commenting on the hiring push, Total Mortgage's president John Walsh, said, ""Total Mortgage's vision is to deliver the perfect mortgage which we believe starts with our advice-driven loan officers establishing a trust-based relationship with a borrower at initial contact and continuing to offer the best advice through closing.""

Total Mortgage said in a company statement that it continues to actively recruit mortgage production professionals and is prepared to offer candidates a choice compensation package. Loan officers on the job hunt, take note.

The product expansion with Agriculture will also add to Total Mortgage's origination services, and the insurance provided through the Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan Program will present new lending options to moderate-income rural residents needing access to affordable financing.

The program will help eliminate down payments and auxiliary expenses for borrowers seeking housing in designated rural areas. Specific guidelines within the Total Mortgage/USDA program include no required down payment, flexible sources for closing costs, competitive 3-year fixed rates, and no monthly mortgage insurance premiums.

And for potential consumers wondering what constitutes a ""rural"" region, the company says it will primarily consider those areas with a population under 10,000 but that some exceptions exist, such as areas with populations closer to 20,000 that are located far from a metro region.

The Guaranteed Rural Housing Loan Program is offered through Agriculture's ""Rural Housing Service"":http://www.rurdev.usda.gov/RD_Loans.html and will be added to Total Mortgage's product range effective immediately.

Of the new lending option, Walsh said, ""Total Mortgage is committed to helping borrowers either purchase or remain in their homes on the most affordable terms available.

""The USDA home loan program is one of the most compelling mortgage products in today's challenging mortgage marketplace and offers real solutions for rural borrowers, especially those in need of 100 percent financing or with lower credit scores,"" he added. ""Our team of fully licensed loan officers have recently completed an expensive internal training program on USDA home loans guidelines and are ready to educate and help borrowers qualify for this money saving mortgage product.""
