The Biden Administration and HUD announced they will increase the transparency of housing fees, and released new research that summarizes state and local innovation to address junk fees nationwide.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced the commencement of Fair Housing Month 2023, honoring the 55th anniversary of the signing of the Fair Housing Act, as well as modern efforts to advance equity in housing and protect fair housing rights.

The grants to support innovative housing programs in multiple communities nationwide will help in targeting federal resources to meet and support local needs and community-driven efforts to end youth homelessness, improving the process and outcome through more stable housing and services.
