Mortgage Capital Management Announces SVP of Sales and Marketing

Mortgage Capital Management (MCM), a firm offering mortgage banking consulting and services, announced the hiring of Karen Herr as SVP for sales and marketing.

An experienced mortgage veteran with more than 25 years under her belt, Herr began her career in mortgage servicing with a savings and loan before transitioning to capital markets at Merrill Lynch Mortgage Capital. She also spent 15 years at Chase Home Mortgage, both as a successful producer and as a manager in the company's first mortgage correspondent lending and wholesale home equity divisions.

In her executive leadership role at MCM, Herr will lead the company's efforts in growing new business while cultivating existing relationships through customer support, information, and guidance.

Dean Brown, CEO of MCM, said Herr's ability to build strong relationships makes her a "natural fit" for her new position.

"Karen has a consultative approach that contributes to MCM's strong client relationships," Brown said. "When combined with her complete understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, she is well positioned to troubleshoot client issues, as well as offer profit and service improvements that will help minimize risk."
