Bank of America Launches Mobile Homebuying Education Center

Bank of America has launched its mobile-optimized Real Estate Center, a comprehensive online education center for both buyers and sellers.

The center helps buyers make more informed decisions by providing real-time neighborhood information, pricing trends, and recent sales.

The Real Estate Center from Bank of America includes the following features:

  • A mobile friendly design that allows the Real Estate Center to be used anywhere, anytime, from any mobile device, providing a seamless on-the-go experience;
  • Data on previous purchase prices and recent home sales, based on the latest data coming from approximately 95 percent of the country’s multiple listing service (MLS) listings;
  • Email alerts to let clients know when a new home is listed for sale in their area, or a house on the market sells or changes status from pending offer to sold in MLS;
  • Neighborhood data that provides information, such as walkability scores and school information, on how a specific neighborhood fits a buyer’s personal needs;
  • A calculator to help buyers experiment with potential monthly payment scenarios, predict closing costs, and complete an affordability snapshot;
  • financial education tools readily available to consumers.

“The Bank of America Real Estate Center is built to be intuitive, putting critical information at both prospective buyers’ and existing homeowners’ fingertips and helping them stay connected with experts every step of the way,” said D. Steve Boland, Bank of America Consumer Lending executive.
